Child Dedications: May 17, 2026

Child Dedication is a special moment where you, the parents, grandparents, guardians, publicly commit to raising their child to know and follow God — and DCC staff & congregants commit to support you and your family in that journey.

It’s not baptism and it doesn’t save your child. Instead, it’s a promise and a prayer.

What parents are saying:

• We recognize our child is a gift from God.
• We will teach them about Jesus at home.
• We will model faith through how we live.

What the church is saying:

• We will partner with you.
• We will pray for your family.
• We will help create a place where your child can grow in faith.

Child dedication follows the example of parents in the Bible who offered their children back to God and committed to raise them for Him (like Hannah dedicating Samuel).

Child Dedication will be held during main service. If you would like for your child to be dedicated, please register here and we will be in contact with you.
